Sun Liqing graduated with a Ph.D. degree in automotive design and manufacturing. He is engaged in scientific research in the fields of new energy, electric vehicles and vehicle dynamics. He is also a member of the National Engineering Laboratory for Electric Vehicle, which belongs to the Ministry of Industry and Information of China, and a member of the Beijing Electric Vehicle Coordination Innovation Center. He is mainly engaged in scientific research, engineering and product development in the fields of new energy, electric vehicle and vehicle dynamics.

Stefan Bernhart was posted to the German Embassy in Beijing in October 2016. As Economic and Industry Counsellor, he is responsible for industry relations with a focus on the automotive industry.  He previously worked for Daimler AG in several leadership positions. Stefan Bernhart holds a M.A. in Economics, Intercultural Communication and English and is married with three children.

Michael Chang

Michael has over 17 years of managerial experience in multinational companies on ICT research & innovation, standardization and technology strategy. Elected as Vice President and Executive Committee Member of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China in May 2017, he has been leading the high-tech policy dialogue between EU and China representing EU industry. He also serves as a member of the “EU-China Expert Group on Digital Economy & Cybersecurity” formed by China & EU authorities as the top dialogue platform on digital transformation.

As Director Asia-Pacific of Spiegel Institut, Ms. Yuwei Jin is actively involved in plenty of market research studies with the focus on consumer research and user experience consulting, especially in the automotive industry. She received her Master degree at Humboldt University in Berlin and then worked in the management in various German organizations and enterprises in Germany as well as in China. Her intercultural perspective and competence help her to have a better understanding of markets and consumers in both countries.

As UX and consumer research consultant of Spiegel Institut, Ms. Xiaoling Cordt is actively involved in providing UX and consumer research consultancy. She is a Nielsen Normal Group (NN/g) and CPUX-F certificated UX professional. She pursued her PhD Degree in User-Centered Design research at University of Twente, the Netherlands. With her doctoral User-Centered Design research background and working experience at Spiegel Institut, she possesses deep knowledge and has also been passionate in helping international enterprises incorporate meaningful user/customer insights into their products and services.
